Liz + Gabe’s Hilltop Wedding // Spring Green

I hardly know where to start with this wedding. Both Liz and Gabe work with their hands – she ran her family’s CSA and he does wood working for a number of bars, restaurants and stores in Madison – so it was no surprise that they crafted a truly unique and fun wedding among the beauty of Hilltop in Spring Green. They decked it out with so many personal and homemade details, invited their awesome and stylish family and friends and entertained us all with a magician, a piñata, bagpipes, sparklers, and great music and food. I love how this wedding was a perfect reflection of the two of them, set among so much greenery {I’m pretty sure Liz knows the name of every kind of plant} with a laid back vibe the entire day. Most of the guests camped out or stayed in the dorm at Hilltop and I have no doubt the party went late on into the night.

Liz and Gabe worked with some truly awesome vendors {mentioned at the bottom of the post} that I feel really lucky to be listed among. Also, a super huge thanks to Ester for coming along and shooting with me – I couldn’t have told the story of this wedding without her and so, some of her pictures are mixed in with mine below.

Terren Kimmitt - Megan, You have truley outdone yourself with these images. One of my all time favorites! What a unique wedding! very inspirational. You captured so many moments that are usually not considered.
The frog pic is my favorite. Also, the dark shot with all the use of existing light under the roof is amazing.
The couple is blessed to have you as their photographer and now friend for life. Amazing job Meg!

Anda - I’m speechless. You killed it. Looks like a really quirky, cool, stylish, lovely wedding.
